诗篇-Psalms 第 78 章

78:1我的民哪，你们要留心听我的教训，侧耳听我口中的话。
Give ear, O my people, to my instruction; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
78:2我要开口说比喻；我要说出古时的谜语，
I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter riddles from of old,
78:3是我们所听见所知道的，也是我们的祖宗向我们所述说的。
Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have related to us.
78:4我们不将这些事向他们的子孙隐瞒，要将耶和华当得的赞美，和祂的能力，并祂所作的奇事，述说给后代听。
We will not hide them from their children, But will relate to the generation to come The praises of Jehovah and His strength And His wondrous deeds that He has done.
78:5因为祂在雅各中立了见证，在以色列中设了律法，是祂吩咐我们祖宗，要他们给子孙知道的；
Indeed He has established a testimony in Jacob And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers That they should make them known to their children;
78:6使将要生的后代子孙，可以晓得；他们也要起来向他们的子孙述说；
That the generation to come, The children to be born, may know them, Who should arise and relate them to their children;
78:7好叫他们寄望于神，不忘记神的作为，惟要遵守祂的命令；
That they might set their hope in God, And not forget the deeds of God, But observe His commandments;
78:8不至像他们的祖宗，是顽梗悖逆、居心不正之辈，他们的灵向着神不忠信。
That they might not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not set their heart right, And whose spirit was not faithful to God.
78:9以法莲的子孙，带着兵器，拿着弓箭，临阵之日却转身退后。
The children of Ephraim, armed archers with bows, Turned back in the day of battle.
78:10他们不遵守神的约，不肯遵行祂的律法；
They did not keep the covenant of God, And they refused to walk in His law.
78:11又忘记祂所行的，和祂向他们所显奇妙的作为。
And they forgot His doings And His wondrous deeds that He had shown them.
78:12祂在埃及地，在琐安田，在他们祖宗的眼前，施行奇事。
He did something wonderful in the sight of their fathers In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.
78:13祂将海分开，使他们过去，又叫水立起如垒。
He divided the sea and caused them to pass through, And He made the water stand as a heap.
78:14祂白日用云彩，终夜用火光，引导他们。
And He led them with the cloud by day And all the night with a light of fire.
78:15祂在旷野裂开磐石，多多的给他们水喝，如从深渊而出。
He split rocks in the wilderness And gave them abundant drink, as from the depths.
78:16祂使水从磐石涌出，叫水如江河流下。
He also brought forth streams from the rock And made water run down like rivers.
78:17他们却仍旧得罪祂，在干旱之地悖逆至高者。
Yet they still continued to sin against Him, To rebel against the Most High in the desert.
78:18他们心中试探神，随自己所欲的求食物；
And they put God to the test in their heart, By asking for food according to their desire.
78:19并且出言顶撞神，说，神岂能在旷野摆设筵席么？
They also spoke against God; They said, Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?
78:20看哪，祂曾击打磐石，使水涌出，如同江河泛滥；祂还能赐粮食么？还能为祂的百姓预备肉么？
Behold, He struck the rock, And water gushed out, And streams overflowed; Can He also give us bread, Or provide meat for His people?
78:21所以耶和华听见，就发怒。有火向雅各烧起，有怒气向以色列上腾；
Therefore Jehovah heard and was angry. And a fire was kindled against Jacob, And also anger went up against Israel;
78:22因为他们不相信神，不倚靠祂的救恩。
Because they did not believe in God, And they did not trust in His salvation.
78:23祂却吩咐在上的穹苍，又敞开天上的门，
Yet He commanded the skies above And opened the doors of heaven;
78:24降吗哪像雨给他们吃，将天上的粮食赐给他们。
And He rained down upon them manna to eat And gave them the food of heaven.
78:25人吃大能者的食物；祂差下粮食，使他们饱足。
Man ate the bread of the mighty; He sent them full provision.
78:26祂使东风在天空刮起，又用能力引来南风。
He made the east wind blow in the heavens And guided the south wind by His strength.
78:27祂降肉像雨给他们，多如尘土，又降飞鸟，多如海沙，
And He rained upon them meat like dust, And winged birds like the sand of the seas.
78:28落在他们的营中，在他们住处的四围。
And He made it fall in the midst of their camp, Around their habitations.
78:29他们吃了，而且极其饱足；这样，祂就随了他们所欲的。
So they ate and were well filled; Indeed what they desired He brought to them.
78:30他们贪而无厌，食物还在口中的时候，
They were not estranged from what they desired; Their food was still in their mouths
78:31神的怒气就向他们上腾，杀了他们内中的肥壮人，打倒以色列的少年人。
When the anger of God went up against them And slew some of their fattest ones And struck down the choice men of Israel.
78:32虽经这一切，他们仍旧犯罪，不相信祂奇妙的作为。
In spite of all this they still sinned And did not believe in His wondrous deeds.
78:33因此祂使他们的日子在虚空中耗尽，使他们的年岁在惊恐中度完。
Therefore He consumed their days with vanity, And their years with terror.
78:34祂杀他们的时候，他们才求问祂，回转过来，切切的寻求神。
When He slew them, they inquired after Him, And they returned and diligently sought God.
78:35他们也追念神是他们的磐石，至高的神是他们的救赎主。
And they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God, their Redeemer.
78:36他们却用口谄媚祂，用舌向祂说谎。
But they flattered Him with their mouth And lied to Him with their tongue.
78:37因他们的心向祂不坚定，在祂的约上也不忠信。
For their heart was not steadfast toward Him, Nor were they faithful to His covenant.
78:38但祂有怜悯，遮盖他们的罪孽，不灭绝他们；而且屡次使自己的怒气转消，不发尽祂的忿怒。
But He, being merciful, forgave their iniquity And did not destroy them; Indeed He turned back His anger many times And did not stir up all His wrath.
78:39祂想到他们不过是肉体，是一阵去而不返的风。
And He remembered that they were flesh, A wind that goes away and does not return.
78:40他们在旷野悖逆祂，在荒地叫祂担忧，何其多呢！
How often they rebelled against Him in the wilderness And grieved Him in the desert!
78:41他们再三试探神，惹动以色列的圣者。
And they repeatedly put God to the test And provoked the Holy One of Israel.
78:42他们不追念祂的能力，和赎他们脱离敌人的日子；
They did not remember His hand, The day when He ransomed them from the adversary;
78:43那时祂在埃及显神迹，在琐安田显奇事，
When He set His signs in Egypt And His wonders in the field of Zoan;
78:44把他们的江河与溪流都变为血，使他们不能喝。
And He turned their rivers into blood, As well as their streams, so that they could not drink.
78:45祂打发苍蝇成群，落在他们中间，嘬尽他们；又打发青蛙毁坏他们；
He sent among them a swarm offlies, which devoured them; And frogs, which destroyed them.
78:46祂把他们地里的出产交给毁蝗，把他们劳碌得来的交给群蝗。
And He gave their increase to the consuming locust, And their labor to the swarming locust.
78:47祂用冰雹打坏他们的葡萄树，用严霜打坏他们的桑树；
And He killed their vines with hail, And their sycamores with ice stones.
78:48又把他们的牲畜交给冰雹，把他们的群畜交给闪电。
He gave over their cattle also to the hail And their herds to the lightning bolts.
78:49祂打发猛烈的怒气、盛怒、恼恨和苦难，成了一群降灾祸的使者，进入他们中间。
He sent among them the burning fierceness of His anger, Overflowing wrath and indignation and trouble, A mission of angels of evils.
78:50祂为自己的怒气修平了路，不使他们的魂免于死亡，乃将他们的生命交给瘟疫。
He leveled a path for His anger; He did not spare their soul from death, But gave their life over to the pestilence.
78:51祂在埃及击杀一切头生的，在含的帐棚中，击杀他们力量强壮时头生的。
And He struck all the firstborn in Egypt, The first of their vigor in the tents of Ham.
78:52祂却领出自己的民如羊，在旷野引他们如羊群。
But He set forth His people like sheep And led them like a flock in the wilderness.
78:53祂领他们稳稳妥妥的，使他们不至害怕；海却淹没他们的仇敌。
And He led them to safety, so that they did not fear; But the sea covered their enemies.
78:54祂带他们到自己圣地的境界，到祂右手所得的这山。
And He brought them forth to His holy border, The mountain, which His right hand had acquired.
78:55祂在他们面前赶出外邦人，用绳子将外邦的地量给他们，拈阄分给他们为业，叫以色列支派的人在那里住在他们的帐棚里。
And He drove out the nations before them And allotted them as an inheritance by line, And He made the tribes of Israel dwell there in their tents.
78:56他们仍旧试探、悖逆至高的神，不持守祂的见证；
Yet they put Him to the test and rebelled against God the Most High, And did not keep His testimonies.
78:57反倒退后，行诡诈，像他们的祖宗一样；他们翻转，如同诡诈的弓。
And they turned back and dealt treacherously, as their fathers had done; They turned aside like a deceitfulbow.
78:58他们用邱坛惹了祂的怒气，用雕制的偶像触动祂的妒忌。
Indeed they provoked Him to anger with their high places And made Him jealous with their graven images.
78:59神听见就发怒，极其厌恶以色列人。
God heard, and He was angered; And He greatly abhorred Israel.
78:60于是祂离弃示罗的帐幕，就是祂在人间所搭的帐棚；
Thus He forsook the tabernacle in Shiloh, The tent in which He dwelt among men;
78:61又将祂的约柜交与人掳去，将祂的荣美交在敌人手中。
And He gave over His ark into captivity, And His glory into the hand of the adversary.
78:62并将祂的百姓交与刀剑，向祂的产业发怒。
He also delivered His people to the sword And was angry with His inheritance.
78:63他们的少年人被火烧灭，他们的处女也无喜歌。
Fire devoured their young men, And their virgins had no marriage song.
78:64他们的祭司倒在刀下，他们的寡妇却不哀哭。
Their priests fell by the sword, And their widows did not lament.
78:65那时主如同睡醒，像勇士因饮酒呼喊。
Then the Lord awoke as if from sleep, Like a mighty man who shouts because of wine.
78:66祂打退了祂的敌人，叫他们永蒙羞辱。
And He struck His adversaries and sent them back; He put an everlasting reproach upon them.
78:67并且祂弃掉约瑟的帐棚，不拣选以法莲支派，
And He rejected the tent of Joseph, And the tribe of Ephraim He did not choose.
78:68却拣选犹大支派，祂所爱的锡安山。
Rather He chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which He loved.
78:69祂盖造祂的圣所，好像高峰，又像祂所建立永存之地。
And He built His sanctuary like the heights, Like the earth that He has founded forever.
78:70又拣选祂的仆人大卫，从羊圈中选取了他；
Moreover He chose David His servant And took him from the sheepfolds;
78:71叫他不再跟从那些带奶的母羊，为要牧养自己的百姓雅各，和自己的产业以色列。
From following after the ewes He brought him To shepherd Jacob His people And Israel His inheritance.
78:72于是，他按心中的纯全牧养他们，用手中的巧妙引导他们。
And he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.
