路加福音-Luke 第 23 章

23:1他们全体都起来，把耶稣带到彼拉多面前。
And the entire multitude of them rose up and led Him before Pilate.
23:2就控告祂说，我们查出这人煽惑我们的人民，禁止纳税给该撒，且说自己是基督，是王。
And they began to accuse Him, saying, We found this man perverting our nation and forbidding people to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.
23:3彼拉多问耶稣说，你是犹太人的王么？耶稣回答说，你说的是。
And Pilate asked Him, saying, Are You the King of the Jews? And answering him, He said, It is as you say.
23:4彼拉多对祭司长和群众说，我查不出这人有什么该定罪的。
And Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, I find no fault in this man.
23:5但他们越发极力的说，祂煽动百姓，在犹太遍地施教，从加利利起，直到这里。
But they were vehement, saying, He stirs up the people, teaching throughout the whole of Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.
23:6彼拉多一听见，就问这人是加利利人不是。
And when Pilate heard this, he asked whether the man was a Galilean.
23:7既晓得耶稣属希律所管，就把祂送到希律那里去，那些日子希律也正在耶路撒冷。
And when he realized that He was of Herod's jurisdiction, he sent Him up to Herod, who also himself was in Jerusalem in those days.
23:8希律看见耶稣，就甚欢喜，因为听见过祂的事，久已想要见祂，并且指望看祂行个神迹。
And when Herod saw Jesus, he rejoiced greatly, for he had wanted to see Him for a considerable time, because he had heard about Him, and was hoping to see some sign done by Him.
23:9于是问祂许多的话，耶稣却一言不答。
And he questioned Him with many words, but He answered him nothing.
23:10祭司长和经学家都站着，极力的控告祂。
And the chief priests and the scribes stood by, vehemently accusing Him.
23:11希律同他的兵丁就藐视耶稣，戏弄祂，给祂穿上华丽的衣服，把祂送回彼拉多那里。
And Herod with his soldiers, having despised Him and mocked Him, threw around Him splendid clothing and sent Him back to Pilate.
23:12从前希律和彼拉多互相为敌，就在那一天，他们彼此成了朋友。
And both Herod and Pilate became friends with one another on that very day, for they had previously been at enmity toward each other.
23:13彼拉多传齐了祭司长、官长并百姓，
And Pilate, calling together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,
23:14就对他们说，你们把这人带到我这里，说祂是煽惑百姓的，看哪，我也曾将你们告祂的事，在你们面前审问过，并没有查出祂有什么该定罪的；
Said to them, You have brought this man to me as one who turns the people away, and behold, I have examined Him before you and found no fault in this man regarding the accusations you bring against Him.
23:15就是希律也是如此，因为他把耶稣送回我们这里来，可见祂没有作过什么该死的事。
No, neither has Herod, for he sent Him back to us, and behold, nothing worthy of death has been done by Him.
23:16所以我要责打祂，把祂释放了。
I will therefore discipline Him and release Him.
23:17每逢节期，总督必须释放一个囚犯给他们。
Now he was obliged to release to them one prisoner at the feast.
23:18他们却一齐喊着说，除掉这个人，释放巴拉巴给我们。
But they cried out all together, saying, Take this man away and release to us Barabbas.
23:19这巴拉巴是因在城里作乱杀人下在监里的。
He was one who, for a certain insurrection that occurred in the city and for murder, had been thrown into the prison.
23:20然而，彼拉多愿意释放耶稣，就再对他们声明；
But Pilate, wanting to release Jesus, addressed them again;
23:21无奈他们一直喊着说，钉祂十字架！钉祂十字架！
But they continued to shout, saying, Crucify, crucify Him!
23:22彼拉多第三次对他们说，为什么？这人作了什么恶事？我并没有查出祂有什么该定死罪的，所以我要责打祂，把祂释放了。
But he said to them a third time, Why, what evil has this man done? I have found no cause of death in Him; I will therefore discipline Him and release Him.
23:23但他们大声催逼，求他把耶稣钉十字架，他们的声音就得了胜。
But they pressed him with loud voices, asking that He be crucified, and their voices prevailed.
23:24彼拉多这才宣判，他们所要求的可以执行，
And Pilate gave sentence that their request be carried out,
23:25便把他们所求那因作乱杀人下在监里的释放了；却把耶稣交出来，任凭他们的意思行。
And he released him who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, whom they asked for; but Jesus he delivered up to their will.
23:26他们把耶稣带走的时候，有一个古利奈人西门，从乡下来，他们就抓住他，把十字架搁在他身上，叫他在耶稣后面背着。
And as they led Him away, they laid hold of Simon, a certain Cyrenian, coming from the country, and they placed the cross upon him to carry it behind Jesus.
23:27有许多百姓及妇女跟随耶稣，为祂捶胸哀号。
And a great multitude of the people and of women who were mourning and lamenting Him followed Him.
23:28耶稣转身对她们说，耶路撒冷的女儿，不要为我哭，当为自己和自己的儿女哭。
But Jesus turned to them and said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep over Me, but weep over yourselves and over your children.
23:29因为看哪，日子要到，人必说，不生育的，和未曾怀胎的，未曾乳养孩子的，有福了。
For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs which have not borne, and the breasts which have not nourished.
23:30那时，人要对大山说，倒在我们身上；对小山说，遮盖我们。
Then they will begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us! and to the hills, Cover us!
23:31这些事既行在满有汁水的树上，那枯干的树将会怎样？
For if they do these things with the tree full of sap, what will happen with the one that is dry?
23:32又有两个犯人，和耶稣一同带去处死。
And two others also, who were criminals, were led with Him to be executed.
23:33他们到了一个地方，名叫髑髅地，就在那里将耶稣钉了十字架，也钉了那两个犯人，一个在右边，一个在左边。
And when they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left.
23:34当下耶稣说，父啊，赦免他们，因为他们所作的，他们不晓得。兵丁就拈阄分祂的衣服。
And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. And dividing His garments, they cast lots.
23:35百姓站着观看，官长也嗤笑着说，祂救了别人，祂若是神的基督，是那蒙拣选的，就让祂救自己吧！
And the people stood by, looking on. And the rulers also sneered, saying, He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, the Chosen One!
23:36兵丁也戏弄祂，上前拿醋送给祂喝，说，
And the soldiers also mocked Him, coming to Him and offering Him vinegar,
23:37你若是犹太人的王，可以救自己吧！
And saying, If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself!
23:38在耶稣以上有一个牌子写着：这是犹太人的王。
And there was also an inscription over Him: This Is The King Of The JEWS.
23:39悬挂着的犯人中，有一个亵渎祂说，你不是基督么？可以救自己和我们吧！
And one of the criminals who were hanged there blasphemed Him, saying, Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!
23:40但另一个应声责备他说，你既是一样受刑的，还不怕神么？
But the other, answering, rebuked him and said, Do you not even fear God, since you are in the same judgment?
23:41我们受刑是应该的，因我们所受的，与我们所作的相称，但这个人没有作过一件不当的事。
And we justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for what we did, but this Man has done nothing amiss.
23:42就说，耶稣啊，你来进入你国的时候，求你记念我。
And he said, Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.
23:43耶稣对他说，我实在告诉你，今日你要同我在乐园里了。
And He said to him, Truly I say to you, Today you shall be with Me in Paradise.
23:44那时约到正午，遍地都黑暗了，直到午后三时，
And it was now about the sixth hour, and darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour,
23:45日头不发光，殿里的幔子也从当中裂开。
The sun's light failing; and the veil of the temple was split down the middle.
23:46耶稣大声喊着说，父啊，我将我的灵交在你手里。说了这话，气就断了。
And crying with a loud voice, Jesus said, Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit. And saying this, He expired.
23:47百夫长看见所发生的事，就荣耀神说，这真是个义人。
Now when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this man was righteous.
23:48聚集观看的群众，看见所发生的事，都捶着胸回去了。
And all the crowds who came together at this spectacle, when they beheld the things that happened, returned, beating their breasts.
23:49还有一切与耶稣熟识的人，和从加利利跟着祂来的妇女们，都远远的站着，看这些事。
And all those who knew Him, and the women who accompanied Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, observing these things.
23:50看哪，有一个人名叫约瑟，是个议士，为人善良公义；
And behold, there was a man named Joseph, who was a member of the Council, and a good and righteous man
23:51众人所谋所为，这人并没有附和；他本是犹太亚利马太城里，素来盼望神国的人。
(This man had not consented to their counsel and action), from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who was expecting the kingdom of God.
23:52这人到彼拉多跟前来，求耶稣的身体，
This man came to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
23:53就取下来用细麻布裹好，安放在石头凿成的坟墓里，那里从来没有葬过人。
And he took it down and wrapped it in a fine linen cloth, and laid Him in a tomb hewn in the rock, where no one had ever lain.
23:54那日是预备日，安息日也快到了。
And it was the day of preparation, and the Sabbath was coming on.
23:55那些从加利利和耶稣同来的妇女，跟在后面，看见了坟墓和祂的身体怎样安放，
And the women who had come together with Him out of Galilee followed after and beheld the tomb and how His body was laid.
23:56就回去，预备了香料和香膏。她们在安息日，便遵着诫命安息了。
And they returned and prepared spices and ointment. And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
